Power is something everyone wants in one way or another. Some want the power to create, while others want the power to help. And there are some who just want power in order to destroy.

Not everybody has the luxury of desire, however. There are those who can never attain the kind of power they desire, be their end goals as they may. And there are some still who hold immense power within them… but refuse to let it out. Because within them is the power to end everything.

Jago, the Tibetan monk and the warrior of the Tiger Spirit…

…And Jin Kazama, the Lightning of Fate who wields the Devil Gene. I’m Starlow, she’s Squigly, and he’s Leviathan, and only one power-holding martial artist will see the day’s end in this Courtroom Conflict!

The story of Jago is one of struggle, temptation, control, and discipline, and it begins in the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan Mountains. Abandoned there as an infant, Jago was raised as one of the Monks of the Tiger, being trained in their ways from the earliest moments of his life.

That might sound like a pretty strict place to grow up, but by the time Jago was an adult he’d become a pretty impressive member of the Monks. Even then, nobody could have predicted the turns in his future, which all began when a fellow monk attacked him under the influence of an evil power.

Jago was forced to defend himself and their battle resulted in the possessed monk’s death. To atone for this, Jago became a recluse, moving into a cave and meditating on his guilt for his actions. Even though he didn’t do anything wrong, so… good for him, I guess?

It was in this bout of meditative reflection that Jago encountered something… otherworldly. Speaking to him from the depths of his mind came the Tiger Spirit, the very entity that his clan of monks worshipped, and it instilled him with incredible strength for one purpose: join the Killer Instinct tournament and destroy the megacorporation known as Ultratech.

If that sounds ominous, then you’re right to feel that way. The Tiger Spirit remained in Jago’s consciousness as he fought his way through the competition, growing in aggression and urging Jago to throw away his disciplined caution in favor of unchained violence. This even drove him to almost kill his estranged half-sister, Orchid.

It turns out that this wasn’t just its instincts or anything: the Tiger Spirit was actually a form of the half-god Shadow Lord known as Gargos, and he had been trying to manipulate Jago the entire time! They do say that you should never meet your idols, and in Jago’s case, that applies even more than normal. Since, y’know, his idol jacked his body and made him go on a worldwide rampage for fun.

And yet Jago’s mind resisted, with the monk fighting for control over his new shadow self every step of the way. He would eventually win that control back, and this set him on a definitive path: exacting his revenge on Gargos and his forces, along with anything else that was unfortunate enough to get in his way.

And with the amount of power and training Jago has accumulated in his time as a warrior, you’d better believe he’s able to wipe the floor with all comers! He’s a kung fu master who fights by infusing his spirit’s natural energy into his strikes for techniques like his Wind Kick, Tiger Fury uppercut, and the royalty-free fireball technique, the Endokouken! He can fire these energy balls out in sizes ranging from small to Spirit Bomb, so they’re more adaptable than your usual fiery fighting game projectile.

Those aren’t all that the Tiger Warrior can do. He’s shown to be able to telekinetically move things with his mind, power up his moves with Shadow Energy, fight as a ghost, and add to his ferocity while healing damage upon activating his Instinct Mode: the Tiger’s Fury.

And unlike most fighting game poster children, Jago wields more than his mere fists when confronting an opponent. He’s wielded three different types of swords throughout Killer Instinct history, including his laser-firing katana and razor-sharp kora sword. The third blade of his does not manifest until he loses control of himself, however, for reasons that require further explanation.

You see, Jago still possesses some of Gargos’s dark energy inside of him from his time as the vessel of the Tiger Spirit. Should his will to resist the influences of this power falter, he can be possessed by Omen, one of the evil half-god’s underlings, and he will revert to the uncontrollable form of Shadow Jago.

It might not be the true self, but this shadowy form of Jago comes with some new abilities and assets. Most notably, along with boosting his physical capabilities, Shadow Jago has the ability to teleport, which he can use to rush and overwhelm an unprepared opponent. He also carries an all-new broadsword: perfect for slicing foes to mincemeat in seconds!

Even without the additional power that Gargos’s influence has left within him, Jago was more than ready to carve a warpath on his way to revenge. He’s won the third Killer Instinct tournament, bested a multitude of the series’ heavy-hitters like ARIA, Orchid, and Fulgore, mastered the true Tiger Spirit, and even defeated Gargos alongside Kim Wu – impressive, seeing as how Gargos could open up portals that covered a large portion of the Earth’s surface and dispersed clouds upon its formation.

He’s not just capable of dishing out and taking pain: Jago is one of the more agile Killer Instinct characters, all of whom can react to an orbital satellite beam coming down during Fulgore’s No Mercy. Plus, ARIA can think about millions of possibilities in the span of a nanosecond, and Jago could still turn her to scrap without too much trouble!

Not to say that Jago doesn’t have trouble elsewhere. Specifically, he’s constantly trying to fight against the influences of Gargos and Omen, so he’s rarely using his full strength during a fight. And under Shadow Jago’s form, his soul is constantly under fire from the invasive forces controlling his body, so staying in that form too long will destroy Jago’s soul and leave him a ravenous husk.

But as one of the greatest fighters the Killer Instinct universe has ever known, it’s no understatement to say that if your path ever crosses with Jago’s, you’d better be ready to step aside. Otherwise, you’ll find yourself begging for mercy… and you’d be lucky to find any.
Jago: I’m afraid your path ends here.

The gift of life is a precious, malleable thing. Though the circumstances of one’s birth may initially shape it to a degree, the power to change destiny always lies in the hands of the individual in question. And against the most impossibly tragic of odds, one can only set those hands to work in fighting against the current of corruption.

And while you’re at it, you might as well learn how to use those hands to beat the ever-living snot out of whatever gets in your way! Courtesy of mom knowing best, of course.

Jin Kazama was raised by his single mother, Jun, on a remote island location for the early years of his life. She trained him in physical fitness and her family’s martial art from his youth, knowing full well the dangers that his family line could pose to her son. The boy’s father, Kazuya Mishima, was not exactly a model parent, and the rest of the family were a dangerous combination of insane and powerful, so she was right to prepare him for the trauma he would experience down the line.

Kind of a shame that his training would end up becoming way more important sooner rather than later. When Jun sensed the presence of Ogre approaching the Kazama family’s secret dwelling, she told Jin of his family line and advised that he search for his grandfather, Heihachi, should anything happen to her. Just in time for Ogre to show up and… ‘killed’? Kinda?

Her fate has never been officially confirmed, but seeing as how Jin believed her dead and went in looking for Heihachi after the fact, it’s probably safe to assume that she’s pushing up daisies.

Jin, meanwhile, would be pushing iron in the training room after he found his grandfather, for Heihachi set his grandson to work, teaching him Mishima-style Karate in preparation for their family conglomerate’s own fighting tournament: the King of Iron Fist. And with his training combined with his natural fighting capabilities, he’d make for one extraordinary prodigy.

Not only does Jin have limited elemental manipulation, seeing as how he can imbue his strikes with electricity and fire, but there’s a special power imbued within his genetic code that grants him other supernatural powers, such as being able to project energy beams from his forehead and form barriers around his body. These are the barest minimum of the strength that Jin’s Devil Gene possesses, and its true power would receive a rude awakening early into his fighting career.

Because, whaddaya know! Heihachi betrayed him after Jin won the tournament and avenged his mother by slaughtering Ogre with his own two hands. Anyone else getting some déjà vu right now?

This near-death experience was the catalyst needed to push Jin to his limits and activate his Devil Form for the first time. This transformation unlocks the Devil Gene’s greatest potential, and while it forces Jin to forfeit much of his control over his actions to the Gene’s bloodlusted nature, the increase in his deadliness is remarkable. For a start, the beams he fires from his forehead are upgraded into fully-powered Devil Beams in this state, and the wings on his back can be use for flight that breaches Mach speeds.

What’s more, he gains the ability to absorb an enemy’s life force through physical contact, which pretty much makes him a vampire on top of being a devil! And even if he can’t get close enough for that, he can always just use telekinesis to discount-Force Choke them into submission.

It’s this level of uncontrollable strength that has gotten Jin as far as he has, along with his natural talent for fighting and his genuine devotion to doing the right thing. He might act cold, but the whole reason he fights is to destroy the curse of the Devil Gene, so he’s not that bad of a guy. Even if he kinda started World War III so he could fight a big mummy demon.

Speaking of Azazel, this monstrous entity was stated to be capable of destroying the Earth and wiping out humanity if unleashed on the world. This means that because Jin humiliated it by killing it with a single punch, he should be superior to this kind of power, which would need to be equivalent to 183 petatons of TNT for the statements to prove true.

Jin is strong enough to scrap with Heihachi and Kazuya, the latter of whom can survive erupting volcanoes. He can rend stone and glass with single punches, survive falling from orbit, and contend with other Devil Gene users like Devil Kazuya, whose Devil Beam struck a satellite from ground level in under a second. That kind of speed reaches the quintuple digits of Machs – specifically, it shows that Devil Beams can move at 2 percent the speed of light.

He might constantly be limiting his power to control the Devil within, and he might lose a fight to lower-tier fighters now and then, but the Lightning of Fate is a fighter you never want to be unlucky enough to face. Just what you’d expect from the descendant of two legendary warrior families!
Jin: Power… Power is everything!
Cross-Examination

The fighters have been thoroughly analyzed. The time for combat has drawn near.

Then let’s get it going! Tiger versus Devil, let’s go!

Setting: Tibetan Mountains
…
…get…
…Get up…
…Get up, Jin…
As a voice in the back of his head pushed him to stand, Jin Kazama groaned lowly as consciousness returned to him, the first thing greeting his senses was a stinging cold all around his face. Bringing one arm up to push himself to all fours, Jin saw he had been lying face-down in a blanket of snow for… Some time, he assumed. When he tried to remember what had happened up until now, his head ached profusely.
Jin: Urgh… What the hell…?
Jin’s whole body groaned in protest as he brought himself to his feet, the tattered brown rope draped over his upper body not doing much to shield him from the chilling temperature of the howling mountain winds. The blizzard raging on the mountain had Jin’s visibility down to basically nothing, but because of his heightened senses, Jin could faintly pick out the sound of a raging fire amidst the snowstorm. There was also a heavy plume of smoke rising in the distance some ways away from him. Clutching his rags closely for what minuscule protection they provided, he trod across the snow toward the sound and signs of the open flame.
What he came across was the burning, mangled wreckage of a helicopter. After searching through what parts of it he could safely access, Jin found the dead bodies of two pilots and three medics, all laying bloodied and dead around the chopper’s corpse. The hole burned into the helicopter’s roof, along with its rotor blades being sawed off only as far as they extended over the hole in the roof, told Jin everything he needed to know.
The Devil Gene had caused this. He was the reason these people were dead.
Jin: …Tch…
As he turned his gaze to the side of the chopper, he noticed what appeared to be a scratched and ash-covered emblem on its side, painted on in white stripes. He brushed his gloved palm along the helicopter’s outer shell, discovering the remains of the United Nations logo beneath a layer of snowy ash. It was starting to come back to him now… Azazel… His sacrifice… They must have been taking him somewhere.
It didn’t look like he’d be going anywhere now, though. Whirling snow and cuttingly cold winds swirled in every direction around him, the mountain air sending shivers through his skin. The flames of the helicopter’s wreckage were fast dying, and Jin knew he needed to find shelter before he froze to death. Thus, he picked himself up from a crouching position he had taken next to the ruined vehicle and began a trek up the wintery mountain trail.
As the visibility of his environment lowered the higher he climbed, Jin’s teeth chattered and he folded his arms tightly around his chest to preserve as much of his body’s warmth as he could, defending it from the invasive alpine temperatures as he scaled the snow-covered rocky peaks. Just as he was beginning to ponder what he would do if he were truly lost among the mountains, carried along the freezing breeze came a low, constant sound from not far away. Instinctively moving in the direction of the noise, Jin made out the sound of a low, guttural humming coming from the other face of the mountainside.
Trudging through the deep blanket of mountain snow, Jin noticed what seemed to be a few old, broken pillars lining the path towards the humming sound. Beneath his feet, he could feel cobblestone slabs laid into the ground, long since buried under the wintery essence that plagued the scenery around him. Signs of civilization were a welcome sight, but they definitely didn’t look modern or well-kempt. As he followed the scattered trail of broken pillars and columns, more and more of them began appearing in his path, with a few wayward statues placed between them. Steel tigers poised to strike glared Jin down as he passed them by, all while the humming noise grew ever louder.
Finally, Jin found himself standing before the entrance into what seemed to be a sort of temple carved into the cheek of the mountain. Statuettes and busts of tigers were everywhere around the mouth of the temple, and the humming noise radiated from deep within. Deciding this was his best option at survival for the moment, Jin slowly walked inside. The temple appeared empty, but Jin could swear he was feeling some sort of presence within its walls, and thus he trode very deliberately across its decrepit wood floors, always eyeing the shadows of the unfamiliar place as if expecting a monster to lurk within.
Jin: What is this place…?
As Jin came to the end of a long, linear hallway with several rooms leading off from it, he was happy to see the large head of a tiger forged from steel attached to the back wall of the room the hallway led to. Within its agape jaws, there was a hearty flame burning, sparks eagerly leaping from between its forboding fangs. More than happy to be close to such a source of warmth after his lengthy jaunt through the cold mountain snow, Jin took a cross-legged seat by the edge of the fireplace, holding his hands out as the fire’s warmth spread over him.
Suddenly, however, the peace of the fire was interrupted by the revitalization of the humming noise that had drawn Jin to the temple. It was louder than ever before, and when Jin looked over his shoulder he could tell the sound was coming from the room beyond his current location. Getting up, he strode towards the entrance to the next room, somewhat curious as to what the humming sound was originating from.
The room was as dark as the night sky, and as Jin took his first steps into the new area he made sure he wasn’t tripping over or walking into anything hiding in the darkness. To his left was the only source of light in the entire room: a single candle, which burned at the feet of a tiger statue two times Jin’s own height. As he took cautious steps towards the candle, the humming grew louder and louder, almost as if the stationary metal beast was growling at him.
When Jin was only a few paces away from the candle, however, the humming abruptly came to a stop, and the candle’s fledgling flame blew out, leaving Jin in total darkness. In response to the sudden disturbance, Jin clenched his fists and turned around, facing the other side of the room in a combat stance. The presence he had sensed earlier was now as present as the blackness enveloping him, and it was a powerful one at that.
Jin: Who’s there!? Show yourself!
From the other end of the dark space, a slight orange light began to shine from the inky blackness. The light lit up along a specific pattern, lines and curves shining through the void as a tiger’s roar resonated from somewhere in the distance. Jin heard the scoff of a middle-aged man, and the glowing marks moved as their bearer stood up slowly. Jin could barely make out his muscular frame, but his back was still clearly turned. With his arms still in a meditative position, the Tiger Warrior known only as Jago regarded his uninvited guest with a cold reception.
Jago: …You do not belong here. This is a sacred place, and you soil it as you tread within. Leave, now.
Despite his intimidating words, Jin’s stance and expressions never faltered, and he pressed the man before him.
Jin: Where am I? What is this temple? I DEMAND that you tell me NOW!
A low hmph was Jago’s response to Jin’s loud demand. Scowling, Jin took a step forward in an advance on the other warrior, but hastily froze when he saw Jago whirl around and extend his arm with his palm facing out. On instinct, Jin stepped out of the way, and a bright light flashed from Jago’s hand as a bright orange fireball leaped forth.
Jago: ENDOKUKEN!
The flaming projectile shot past Jin and across the room, impacting within the mouth of the giant tiger statue. The flames lit up the inside of its head, casting an orange glow across the previously pitch black room. Because Jin’s gaze had followed the Endokuken on its path of travel, Jago was left with a wide opening, and he lunged forward, grabbing Jin by the scruff of his jacket before throwing him through the opening that led back into the fireplace room Jin had been in previously. Recovering in midair, Jin landed solidly on his feet and rose to a defensive position, staring down his newfound opponent as he stepped into the same room.
Jago: I will not ask you again. Leave this place at once, or suffer the Tiger Spirit’s fury.
Jin could feel the strength his foe possessed. This would be an entertaining fight, to say the least. In response to Jago’s final offer, Jin grabbed his coat and threw it off to the side before resuming a fighting stance, his expression stoic and battle-ready. Seeing the intruder choose the hard way of dealing with things, Jago frowned beneath his mask before he smacked his hands together, his eyes flashing orange. He assumed a fighting stance as well, the silence of the temple around them almost deafening.
Jago: Then so be it.

Jago and Jin broke into a run towards each other, meeting head-on in the center of the room. When they were just barely a meter apart, both of them firmly planted one leg on the floor and spun on the balls of their feet, swinging their free legs up as they traded kicks with shouts of effort. Each combatant glared the other down as they struggled to push against the force of his foe’s leg. After some moments of the power struggle, both of them drew their legs back barely a few inches. Jago’s tattoos began to glow, and Jin’s leg lit up with a fiery essence.
They kicked again, the collision of power exploding in a bright flash. After their legs bounced off each other and they resumed their base stances, Jin was the first to rush forward and attack his enemy. Emphasizing his swings with sharp exhales, Jin jabbed at Jago from up close, his gloved fists rapping against his foe’s arms, which were raised to block. As his punches seemed to do little to shake his enemy, Jin charged up electricity in his fist and swung it in a strong right hook, small sparks of electric power bursting from his skin. Jago grimaced and grunted as a powerful shock rippled from his bicep through his entire body, and he felt his muscles spasm slightly for a second, immobilizing him. Jin took this opportunity to lift his right leg high up over his head and drop his heel down on Jago’s paralyzed forearms in a sharp axe kick, breaking the Tiger Warrior’s guard and forcing Jago’s arms to fall to his sides. Allowing his body’s rotational momentum to carry him forward, Jin stepped closer and swung his fist into the side of Jago’s unprotected head, putting a dent in his facemask and knocking Jago back several feet.
TRIPLE COMBO!
As the shocks in his body subsided, Jago refocused himself as he saw Jin coming in for a follow-up swing. His full weight was going into a lunging forward strike, and Jago’s expertly seasoned eye caught the attack before it even began. As Jin’s fist shot out in front of him, Jago swiftly moved his head to the side, allowing Jin’s tightly clenched fist to pass by harmlessly. Jago’s left arm moved up and he grabbed Jin’s wrist with an iron grip, keeping him in place as Jago’s free right hand curled into a fist and drove into Jin’s solar plexus. The Lightning of Fate audibly gasped as air fled his chest, but before he could recompose himself there were sharp stings on his chest as Jago’s quickly drawn Kora sword slashed his pecs twice. Jago then flipped backward and kicked Jin’s chin with the top of his foot, popping Jin slightly into the air. Before he could fall back to the floor, Jago righted himself, drew his hand back as he collected power in his palm, and thrust his hand out palm-first as another orange fireball erupted forth.
Jago: ENDOKUKEN!
The orb exploded in a large flare, sparks shooting out from the point of impact as Jin was sent tumbling across the floor. His chest was slightly singed from the projectile, and Jago readied himself as Jin got back to his feet.
HYPER COMBO!!
The combatants locked eyes once more before rushing towards each other again, focused and prepared. Jin threw a punch aimed at Jago’s shoulder, and Jago parried with the side of his wrist before throwing a punch with his free hand at Jin’s head. Similarly to Jago’s previous move, Jin leaned his head out of the punch’s trajectory, only to quickly whip his head back and forward as he headbutted his foe. Despite the sting of his forehead slamming against a piece of metal headgear, Jin could still see Jago wince from the attack, and the Tiger Warrior took a step back to briefly collect himself before stepping back in to continue the fight.
Spinning on his foot, Jago whirled around and threw a kick at Jin. The Lightning of Fate leaned backward to get himself out of the way, and as Jago’s leg came back down, he threw a fiery punch in an attempt to capitalize on his enemy’s missed attack. However, Jago simply leaped over Jin’s arm, continuing to spin as the weight of his kick carried him in another circle the allowed him to kick Jin in the side of his head twice with both legs. Landing soundly and spinning around one more time, Jago delivered a set of three swift blows to Jin’s midsection before jumping slightly and planting the bottom of his foot in Jin’s face, kicking his enemy. As Jin was sent staggering back slightly, Jago fired another Endokuken from his palm that nailed Jin’s sternum, pushing him across the room until his back slammed against the edge of the room. Bracing himself against the wall for a moment, Jin dismissively wiped a trail of blood away from his nose before resuming a fighting stance.
MASTER COMBO!!
Yelling as he rushed his enemy yet again, Jin threw a flame-covered fist at Jago, only for the Tiger Warrior to flip over his head and slash his back once with his Kora sword, extracting a cry of pain from the Child of Destiny. As Jago turned to slash again, however, the Kora sword was batted away by the back of Jin’s hand, who had recovered from the pain and turned around much faster than Jago had anticipated. The electricity Jin had running through his hands carried through the steel blade and into Jago, causing him to freeze as electrical currents ran up and down and all around within his body. Taking advantage of his opponent’s immobility, Jin shouted in traditional martial arts flair as he slugged Jago across the head one, two, three, four times, grabbing the edges of his headgear after the fourth punch and pulling his head down while simultaneously thrusting his knee upward. The tip of his kneecap made its way through the gap in Jago’s headpiece, colliding with the bridge of his nose and bouncing his head back up. Following his enemy’s head’s motion, Jin rapped his knuckles against Jago’s bare chest twice before plowing an uppercut into the underside of his chin, knocking the warrior monk into the air. Jin then jumped up after him, coating his fists in a fiery aura and intertwining his fingers together before delivering a downward swing of his fists, slamming Jago into the floor painfully.
BLASTER COMBO!!
Landing deftly on his feet, Jin didn’t let up in his assault, grabbing Jago by the throat and throwing him against the wall to his left. Dashing in and closing the distance between them, Jin growled loudly as power amassed in his fists, and he proceeded to let out that power in a flurry of punches, striking several parts of the Tiger Warrior’s body in a swift blur. Then, with a final penultimate strike, Jin’s fist crashed into Jago’s face head-on, breaking the wall behind Jago and sending him flying through the hole in the wood.
Jin: Feel the fury!
EXTREEEEME COMBO!!
After smashing through several wooden temple walls, Jago burst into the temple training grounds, landing after a considerable drop and rolling across the ground briefly before springing back to his feet. His vision was somewhat dizzy, but with a quick shake of his head, he cleared his mind as Jin emerged from the hole in the wall, jumping down to meet his opponent. His scowl deepening, Jago did not immediately resume a fighting stance, instead choosing to glare at Jin.
Jago: You are strong. But should you continue to defile the Tiger Temple, you will find only pain awaiting you.
In a dismissive fashion, Jin simply grunted and raised his fists again, moving to resume the battle.
Jin: When I get into a fight, I intend to finish it. Come on!
Jago scoffed at his foe’s headstrong nature and grabbed the hilt of a new weapon from his back, taking out his scarlet katana. Slashing at the air preemptively, Jago began to fire red laser bolts from the sword’s edge. Surprised, Jin was forced to take the full brunt of several of the blasts but managed to roll out of the way of some of the others. As the Lightning of Fate ran forward once again, however, Jago instead opted to keep his distance, leaping away and continuing to fire blasts from his katana. The shots exploded on the floor as Jin dodged them one by one, but they just kept coming as Jago continued to maintain distance between the two of them. Jin growled frustratedly as his opponent continued to elude him, finally deciding to play ball.
Jin: You want to fight like that, huh? Alright then.
Sprinting after his agile enemy, Jin pressed his index and middle fingers to his temple and concentrated. A spark of red energy appeared in the center of his forehead, and with blazing speed, a Devil Beam shot forth, piercing Jago’s katana shots and nailing the unexpecting Tiger Warrior in the shoulder. Jago cried out as the beam burned a severe hole in his shoulder, and he fell from the air, hitting the floor harshly and painfully. The warrior monk groaned lowly as he covered the simmering burn wound, struggling to get up as Jin approached.
Out of the corner of his eye, however, Jago noticed a tiger statue that had been knocked over by one of his katana blasts. Reaching out to the statue, Jago’s eyes suddenly lit up brightly, and Jin stopped his slow stride as he noticed the gleam in his opponent’s eyes. What could be the cause for the sudden glowing, he wondered?
And then it hit him. With a loud, painful-sounding thud. The tiger statue went flying past Jin after the base was smashed into Jin’s temple by Jago’s telekinesis, and in this moment of opportunity, Jago punched the floor and stood up, a tiger’s roar sounding in the distance as his tattoos lit up. Instinct Mode Jago sprang to his feet and rushed at Jin, striking the Lightning of Fate with a flurry of kicks and punches. The more hits he landed, the more his wounds healed and the less exhausted he felt, and after a fast, short jab to Jin’s throat, Jago shouted loudly as he drew his katana once again, slashing at blinding speeds as shadowy afterimages followed his swings.
The burning tip of Jago’s katana bit into the skin of Jin, who couldn’t even shout in pain before the following laser blasts hammered him across the training grounds. After the final blast hit its mark, Jago launched across the entire arena with a Wind Kick to the jaw, staggering Jin and spinning him around until he almost fell over. Grunting through the pain, Jin roared as he threw a flaming punch at Jago, only for the Tiger Warrior to catch it effortlessly in his outstretched hand. With no hint of emotion, Jago turned around with Jin’s hand still caught in his, and he threw Jin over his shoulder and onto the floor with great strength. Jin landed on his back after the throw, sending a shock through his body, and he slowly attempted to muster the strength to rise back to his feet. His fighting spirit burned bright, but his body was weak.
So weak, in fact, that Jago had little trouble seizing hold of his muscular frame with his telekinesis. Waving his arm around, Jago proceeded to fling Jin in every conceivable direction, slamming his foe into walls, statues, the ground, the ceiling, and even old training equipment. Penultimately, Jago smashed Jin into the middle of the training grounds floor, leaving the Child of Destiny littered with scrapes, cuts, and bruises.
As Jago made his way towards his opponent, Jin’s head snapped up and he fired another Devil Beam, a much larger one than the one he’d loosed previously. The red spiraling ray was too fast for Jago to dodge, so he covered his body protectively with crossed arms as he pushed through the attack, his face contorted in a deadly serious scowl as he grew closer with every step. Jin couldn’t muster up enough power to overwhelm Jago’s defense, and the warrior monk closed the distance between them, punching him square in the face to force the beam to cease firing. Then, grabbing Jin by the throat and pulling him to his feet, Jago prepared himself for a powerful attack.
Jago: This! Ends! Now!
Jago shouted as he drew his Kora sword, slashing Jin twice with upward sword swings before the third swing of his blade knocked the Lightning of Fate upward. Jago, jumping after him, punched him out of the air and back to the ground with brutal ferocity, and as Jin slowly got back to his feet with a dazed feeling hanging over him, Jago held his hands to his chest while staying airborne, collecting energy into a condensed Endokuken. As his power welled up, Jago held his hands over his head, the Endokuken constantly increasing in size until it was larger than Jago himself, and as Jin stared up at the huge fireball, Jago flung his arms down towards his foe, sending the massive Endokuken careening downward. Thinking as fast as he could, Jin crossed his arms in front of him as the fireball impacted against his forearms. He pushed against the giant orb’s force with all his might, veins in his forehead throbbing as he shouted intensely, but its size, power, and scorching heat were too much for him to keep up with, and the Endokuken erupted in a huge fiery explosion. Jin was sent rocketing away as a result of its eruptive force, and the back of his head slammed into a wooden pole that made up part of the training grounds walls’ structural foundation. Immediately knocked unconscious, the Kazama combatant fell to the floor, eyes closed, head bloody, and arms scorched.
ULTIMATE…
Seeing his opponent lying motionless against the wall, Jago closed his eyes and turned around. Regretfully, he had been forced to use quite a bit of his power, so he likely wasn’t going to wake up for a while. But when he did, perhaps he would heed the warnings of a warrior monk more quickly.
Jago: Forgive me… But I’m afraid your path ends here.
The Tiger Warrior began to walk away from the training grounds, preparing to return to the dark side room to meditate further. However, back with his unconscious enemy, there was the same voice from before ringing out from the furthest corners of Jin’s darkened mind…
…
You know you have to do it.
You can’t win this without it.
You won’t even survive this if you don’t do it.
Go on… The strength to avenge your mother… The power to kill the Devil Gene…
…The might to overcome the Tiger Warrior.
GIVE IN!
GIVE IN!!
A loud, inhuman screech rang out from behind Jago, who quickly turned around to confront the source of the sound only to be struck with a wave of energy that sent him flying across the training grounds. Jago hit the far wall back-first, letting out a grunt as the wind was knocked out of him, leaving him gasping for air as he slumped to the floor.
From the cloud of dust kicked up by the energy wave, two giant wings as black as night spread apart before flapping once, kicking up a gust of wind as the creature flew from the dust cloud towards Jago. It landed solidly before him, splintering the old wooden planks in the floor under the force of its movement. It extended a gloved hand toward Jago, sharp claws extending from each digit on its hands, before raising its extended hand upwards. Jago felt a hand clench around his throat, and he began to rise in kind with the creature’s hand, his already air-deprived lungs being choked out by the nonexistent hand constricting his windpipe. The Tiger Warrior grabbed and pulled at the phantom grip around his neck, his wide eyes staring down the creature that was choking him. And as the monster saw Jago’s struggling… it smiled.
Jin Kazama was gone. Now… There was only Devil Jin.
Devil Jin: You certainly are powerful… But now you’re not leaving this place alive.
Devil Jin raised his free hand and slapped Jago across the cheek with the back of his hand, toying with the warrior monk. The casual slap felt several times stronger than Jin’s previous strikes, and Jago’s vision went hazy for a moment. Devil Jin tightened his telekinetic grip on Jago’s neck, more than content on crushing his foe’s throat to finish the fight.
Fighting to keep his consciousness, Jago reached out to several broken pillar stumps against the far wall of the training grounds, grabbing ahold of them with his own telekinesis and flinging them towards Devil Jin. The several marble structures broke into thousands of chunks of rubble upon impact with an invisible barrier behind Devil Jin, however, the sound of them shattering not even scoring a sideways glance from the monster. Jago could feel power rising up within him, and he struggled desperately to keep it quelled within. Only seeing more struggling from his foe, however, Devil Jin delivered several telekinetic punches to Jago’s gut, making him grunt in pain.
Devil Jin: This decrepit temple shall become your grave… You were foolish to challenge the might of the Devil Gene, mortal. Now, SUFFER.
Reaching out with his free hand, Devil Jin pressed his open palm to Jago’s face, gripping it tightly with his claws as he began to suck the life out of Jago. The Tiger Warrior violently clawed at his arm in efforts to free himself, but the hold he was under was too strong for him to break. Devil Jin grinned evilly as he felt new strength course through him, the wounds he had sustained from earlier in their battle healing rapidly, and he started to apply pressure to Jago’s head, intent on crushing his skull into pulp with his bare hands. However, Jago’s grip suddenly tightened and he began to spasm violently, a faint red aura surrounding his entire body.
Devil Jin: What is this…?
A sudden surge of power ripped itself outward from Jago’s body, sending Devil Jin tumbling to the floor and freeing Jago from his choke hold. Jago’s choked grunts turned to screams of agony as power radiated from his entire body, ultimately culminating in a burst of shadowy energy that clouded the room for a few seconds. Seeing it as nothing more than a meager attempt at a smokescreen, Devil Jin scoffed and, with a single flap of his huge wings, cleared out the whole training space…
Only to see a shadowy form of his adversary standing before him.
Snapping his head up to lock eyes with Devil Jin, “Jago” flung his arms out to his sides, massive waves of power emanating from both his hands as they glowed with evil energy. His eyes lit up with a sinister blue color, and he stomped the floor as he took up a fighting stance, offering Devil Jin little more than a loud growl of a challenge.
No more was Jago in control of his own body. This was the Omen-possessed spawn of Gargos, Shadow Jago. And in seeing his opponent’s impure transformation, Devil Jin smirked and took up a fighting stance of his own.
Devil Jin: How intriguing… Perhaps you are more akin to me than I’d ever thought possible.
As the raw power of Shadow Jago weighed down the air around them, Devil Jin’s eyes lit up with a glint of murderous joy as the climax of their battle arrived.
Devil Jin: Very well then, mortal… Entertain me.

Shadow Jago unleashed a savage snarl as he took off sprinting towards Devil Jin, leaping high into the air when he reached the middle of the room with his fists clenched. With his dark eyes trained solely on his enemy, Shadow Jago descended towards Devil Jin with his fists held out in front of his head, spiraling down diagonally as power surged from his hands. Seeing the incoming attack, Devil Jin’s wings flapped and carried him backward, leaving Shadow Jago to smash into the floor, huge waves of power crackling around his point of impact with the brittle floorboards.
Before the shadowy monster could attack again, Devil Jin flew forward quickly and grabbed Shadow Jago by the shoulders before flying upward. He flipped backward in the air as his stern grip restrained the struggling Gargos-spawn, the tips of his claws digging into his ashen skin as he looped before he could hit the ceiling. He then proceeded to wind up before he pitched his enemy towards the ground at such a speed that Shadow Jago had broken the sound barrier before he slammed into the ground. With another huge flap of his wings, Devil Jin shot towards the floor, and in the blink of an eye, he was upon his enemy. Once his feet were planted soundly on the floor, he reached down with a clenched fist and delivered a punch to the underside of Shadow Jago’s chin. As the spikes on his knuckles dug into the underside of his enemy’s jaw, Devil Jin then swung his arm up, flinging Shadow Jago across the room until he hit the wall, forming a hole in the wood in which he stayed put.
TRIPLE COMBO!
Devil Jin allowed himself a sinister laugh as he unleashed a Devil Beam from his forehead. The crimson ray was much larger and bursting with even more power than the ones he’d fired in his limited form, and he smiled with a killer’s glee as it shot towards Shadow Jago, hitting almost instantly and causing a huge explosion upon impact with the old rotten boards in the wall. As the sawdust from the incinerated wood fell towards the ground, Devil Jin saw nothing of his opponent – not even a bloody smear. This led him to believe he had escaped somehow, and he looked around the broad, empty training room to see if he could spot the shadowy being. In his search, however, he forgot to check one crucial area – his six. Shadow Jago rose up from a shadowy portal in the floor, completely untouched by the Devil Beam, and proceeded to grab Devil Jin’s wings before kicking him harshly in the back. The kick was significantly stronger than anything the ordinary Jago had thrown, and Devil Jin groaned audibly as his spine came close to fracturing under the attack.
Releasing his adversary’s wings abruptly, Shadow Jago drew his large dark broadsword from the holster on his back and brought it down from over his head, slicing a huge wound in Devil Jin’s back before his momentum carried him back into the shadow portal, which closed up instantly. Devil Jin roared furiously as he whirled around to punch at his enemy, only to see he was no longer there.
Once again appearing behind Devil Jin, Shadow Jago launched up from another shadowy portal in the floor and unleashed a Shadow Wind Kick, barreling forward as he repeatedly kicked Devil Jin square in the face with shadowy afterimages trailing behind him. Shadow Jago flew over Devil Jin’s head after the final kick, shouting as he fired several Shadow Endokukens down toward his foe. Shadow Jago dipped into another portal and vanished as the dark spheres of energy exploded on contact with Devil Jin, one such orb hitting him squarely between the eyes and blinding his vision.
Devil Jin: Graghh… Damned mortal SCUM!!
In a blinded frenzy, Devil Jin began swinging his fists in every direction possible, firing off Devil Beams all the while as he tried in vain to strike Shadow Jago, who rose up from a portal at Devil Jin’s feet. He hit the ground and began to slide in a Dark Drift attack, sliding under his foe’s legs and kicking them ferociously as he passed through in both directions. Feeling the attacks, but still being unable to see, Devil Jin tried to stomp on his foe, only for Shadow Jago to slide past his foot as it came down and duck into another portal. Rather than wait again, Shadow Jago began to launch from several different directions with his teleporting. Punches, kicks, and sword slashes hit Devil Jin like a whirlwind, and as his vision returned to him he still could not keep up with the multiple attacks that, for as fast as Shadow Jago was moving, were all but a blur to the Child of Destiny’s eyes.
Amidst the barrage of attacks, Devil Jin suddenly saw Shadow Jago explode towards him with his sword out, approaching from in front of him. Irately bellowing, he flew towards Shadow Jago and shot Devil Beam after Devil Beam at him, becoming all the angrier as his foe weaved out of the way of each laser that came his way. Once they were within hitting distance of each other, Devil Jin threw a power-packed, fiery punch at his foe, only for Shadow Jago to utilize a short-ranged teleport to phase directly through the attack. Broadsword in hand, Shadow Jago sliced through Devil Jin before turning and repeating the maneuver twice, hitting him in the back with a powerful palm strike after the third slash. Devil Jin was sent rocketing in an upward diagonal direction, slamming into and clean through the wooden temple roof and high into the mountain air.
Back on the ground, Shadow Jago spun his blade in his hands preparedly before crouching, building up strength in his legs before driving himself into the air in hot pursuit of his foe. His skin was numb to the sudden whipping winds and the subzero temperatures, his senses trained entirely on Devil Jin as he closed the gap. Then, just when he was within range, he swung his blade forward…
…And the sharp, tempered edge bounced off an invisible barrier.
C-C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!
Devil Jin: Have you had your fun? Because now it’s my turn!
Before Shadow Jago could teleport out of harm’s way, Devil Jin burst forward in flight and drilled a solid haymaker into the Gargos-spawn’s jawline, sending him flying away at a strictly horizontal angle. Flying after his foe, Devil Jin stabbed the tips of his claws into Shadow Jago’s upper chest before pulling a full 180 and flying towards the higher peak of the mountain range, the Tiger Temple seeming little more than a speck far below them. Devil Jin extended his arm forward, placing Shadow Jago in front of him as he slammed his foe into the mountainside before screeching inhumanly and taking off in a circle around the mountain, dragging a struggling Shadow Jago through the rocky sides of the snow-capped peak.
Once the corrupt Tiger Warrior had been dragged all the way around the face of the mountain, Devil Jin slammed him into the point in the uncovered stone where he had started, his foe much too dazed to fight back. Then, with a single mighty flap of his broad wings, Devil Jin carried himself miles away from his enemy while still facing the peak.
Devil Jin: Goodbye, WORM!
Devil Jin tossed his head back as he built up power in his body before he threw his head forward with a mighty shout as a Devil Beam the size of his body burst from his forehead, every muscle in his body clenched to the maximum. The giant ray hit its mark in under a second, and the entire upper half of the mountain peak exploded into fist-sized shards of rubble that began to rain down in every direction. Shadow Jago fell through the air limply, and Devil Jin swooped in and grabbed him by the face.
Devil Jin: Pathetic… My power is beyond that of a god. You are no more than a drooling animal.
The Lightning of Fate’s wings flapped powerfully, and he along with his captive enemy soared higher and higher into the sky until the burst through the clouds, the risen water vapor flying around them as the sun shone with blinding intensity above the perpetual snowstorms. Soaking in the majesty of his surroundings, Devil Jin allowed his body to turn back towards the earth below, holding Shadow Jago beneath him before descending at a breakneck pace, a massive sonic boom parting the clouds around them.
Devil Jin: …And animals like you should be PUT DOWN!!
The two monstrous combatants plummeted towards the ground with incredible speed, a fiery trail following them as the sheer friction with the air caused burning upon their descent. Devil Jin was flying straight down towards the training area of the Tiger Temple, and as they grew closer to impact, he thrust Shadow Jago’s body out even further.
They landed with a deafening smash, the entire Tiger Temple quaking as the mountain beneath it shook to its base. The floor of the training area had been reduced to little more than a smoldering crater, with several other areas of the temple fracturing and collapsing from the powerful quakes that rocked the mountains upon the fighters’ collision with the ground.
MONSTER COMBO!!
As the dust and rubble finally settled, the image of Devil Jin crouched over Shadow Jago’s motionless body could clearly be seen in the center of the crater that once was the training grounds for countless monks. At the sight of his lifeless opponent, Devil Jin grinned evilly, his clawed hand still covering Shadow Jago’s face with a tight grip.
Devil Jin: Now… I will finish what I started.
His tight, clawed grip on Shadow Jago’s head tightened, breaking the skin of his scalp as more and more pressure was put on the unconscious being’s skull. There came a cracking noise, the sound of something sharp, and then…
Blood.
The viscous red liquid hit the floor in small drops, forming a small pool on the unearthed rock. Devil Jin’s smile grew wider, but it quickly turned to a frown of confusion.
Shadow Jago’s head was still intact. And there was suddenly a stinging pain in his abdomen.
Devil Jin turned his chin down slowly and shakily, and his eyes beheld a terrible surprise: Shadow Jago’s broadsword buried clean through his stomach, the far edge of the blade protruding from his back. The Child of Destiny shivered as he coughed up blood, and suddenly he was thrown off as Shadow Jago suddenly sprung back into action, withdrawing his blade from Devil Jin’s stomach and kicking him away. The corrupted Kazama staggered backward as he feebly covered his gaping stomach hole with one hand, and before he could even look up, Shadow Jago was upon him, roaring at the top of his lungs as he beat down on his foe with a torrent of powerful punches, shadowy afterimage trails following his every move.
After one particularly strong final punch, Shadow Jago roared at the top of his lungs as he corkscrewed directly into Devil Jin’s chest, rocketing him forward and slamming him into the far wall of the destroyed temple area. As Kazama’s back hit the wood of the wall, Shadow Jago launched off his chest for a backflip high into the air. As he soared high above his foe, the consumed Tiger Warrior drew both his katana and his Kora sword before throwing them down towards the dazed demon, the blades whirling in circles on their path of flight before their razor-sharp tips drove through the stems of Devil Jin’s large wings mere inches from where they protruded from his shoulders.
Devil Jin: AAUUUUGH!!
Jin screamed to the high heavens as pain gripped his whole body. In a frenzy, he tried to rush at Shadow Jago to rip him into ribbons with his remaining claws, but the swords in his wings had dug all the way into the wall behind him, pinning him against the wood like paper on a bulletin board. With his opponent immobilized, Shadow Jago began to slowly walk towards Jin with a killing intent, his eyes gleaming with a ghastly evil.
In a desperate bid to keep Shadow Jago away from him, Devil Jin unleashed a vile screech and poured all of the Devil Gene’s power into a colossal Devil Beam, the red ray of death bursting from his forehead and drilling into Shadow Jago’s chest. As he poured all his might into the blast, Devil Jin’s fangs bared as his whole body grew tense.
Devil Jin: DIE, YOU PATHETIC BEAST! DIE, DIE, DIE!!
The Omen-possessed Jago grunted as the laser burned the skin of his chest, but in a swift motion of defiance, he drew his shadowy broadsword and used it to deflect the Devil Beam, sending it shooting through the section of temple wall to his left. Angrily, Devil Jin continued to shoot the beam, struggling in a bloodthirsty attempt to kill his foe.
Suddenly, however, there came the sound of a loud, swift sword swing, followed by the sound of flesh burning and tearing apart. Devil Jin’s eyes went wide and the sounds of his furious struggling were cut off in his throat as the air in it was replaced by blood that brimmed up from his insides. Slowly and shakily, he turned his head down to see that, with his own Devil Beam, Shadow Jago had redirected the blast and cut through the middle of his chest. Utterly disembodied, Jin’s legs collapsed to the floor as blood spilled onto the floorboards. As he felt his strength begin to wane, the Devil Beam petered out and Jin weakly strained against the swords nailing him to the wall with what remained of his power.
Devil Jin: Grghhh… No… Im… Possible…
Devil Jin’s last words were forced through the blood collecting in his throat, but he was only barely able to force them out before Shadow Jago exploded towards him with a bloodcurdling roar, his broadsword hefted over his head. The last thing Devil Jin could register was the sharply honed edge of the shadowy blade descending towards him, and then…
SHRELCH!!
The blade stabbed through the middle of his face and tore through the flesh and bone of Devil Jin’s head like a knife through wet paper, burying its full length in the depths of his skull as the far edge ripped through the back of his head and embedded itself in the wall, much like the katana and Kora sword on either side. Devil Jin made a low gasping noise before he went crosseyed and finally fell still, blood gushing from the stab wound in the middle of his face. His limbs fell limply to his sides, and his corpse was left hanging on the wall like a trophy.
ULTRAAAAAAA COMBOOOOOOO!!
Shadow Jago flung his head back and roared to the ceiling in a victorious scream before he slumped over with one hand on his face. Now without the rush of combat to steal away his control, Jago wrestled back control over his body and the essence of Omen quickly faded from him in a flash of light. Jago, now back to normal, collapsed on the shattered floor of the temple grounds, unconscious. An eerie silence overtook the temple once more, with the stench of death pungent in the crisp mountain air.

As the cold mountain winds blew outside the Tiger Temple, a pile of freshly moved snow sat at the head of a rectangular hole in the ground, carved neatly into the rock. Wisps of snow carried along the high-altitude breeze had dusted the bottom floor of the pit with a slight snowy glaze. The snowflakes were not what the hole was set to hold, though, and as he stepped out of the Tiger Temple and towards the hole he’d carved with old tools from the sanctuary, Jago carried along with him the designated occupant of the makeshift pit.
Jin Kazama’s corpse lay still and lifeless in Jago’s arms. After reawakening to the bloody aftermath of their battle, Jago had felt an indescribable remorse for giving in to Gargos’s influence and taking a stranger’s life in the process. Thus, in a sort of repentance for his actions, he had set about giving Jin a proper burial in accordance with the traditions of his teachers.
Although Jin’s body was still marked with the symbols of the Devil Gene, as he was still technically in his devil form, Jago had employed his Kora sword and cut off both Jin’s wings and horns in preparation for the burial. Just earlier he had cast them out down the mountainside to be forgotten in the snowy wastes of the Tibetan mountain range. In doing this, Jago believed, he had freed Jin from his inner demons as best he could. Somehow, Jago just knew his slain enemy wouldn’t want to be remembered as a winged monster… Much as how Jago himself would not want to be remembered as a shadowy beast.
The Tiger Warrior knelt at the edge of the carved-out grave, gently laying Jin’s body within. Summoning his temperance and will, Jago turned his gaze to Jin’s head. The stab wound through the center of his face was repulsive and festering, and it made Jago’s stomach turn to see such an egregious wound. Despite this, he reached out and gently placed his fingers upon Jin’s eyelids, guiding them down and closing the dead Kazama’s eyes for the last time. Jago then placed his index and middle fingers upon Jin’s forehead before uttering some native Tibetan speech, paying his respects to his fallen adversary.
Having completed the commonplace steps of a Tibetan monk sky burial, Jago rose to his feet and turned his back to the grave, slowly walking back inside the Tiger Temple. From there, he grabbed the sides of the massive entryway doors and pulled them shut. Haunted still was he by the whispers of Omen, and seeing the amount of brutality his inner demon was capable of had thoroughly convinced Jago that he needed to find himself once more.
Finding his way back to the darkened room in which he had first encountered Jin, Jago took a cross-legged seat in the darkness, bowing his head and pressing his palms together. The humming of the temple resumed as Jago entered a meditative focus, preparing to do battle with his own mind once again. The Tiger Temple was in horrible disrepair in the aftermath of their fight, but repairs would have to wait.
He would not allow the powers of Gargos to claim another life.

You know, it’s nice to see proper respects paid after that.

Jago and Jin are both fiercely powerful combatants, and the powers they hide within them are massively destructive. However, there was a clear difference in terms of who had the overall edge in this battle.

First, let’s address their strength. If you take Jago’s lowest acceptable level, which is being comparable to Tusk, he’s weaker than Jin, who can compete with Golden Azazel. However, if you were to accept Jago as on par with Gargos, which he very well could be, he’s far above Jin. So really, depending on what you’re willing to give Jago, the battle between their raw strengths and attack potencies could go either way. For the sake of establishing a proper stance, though, we’re going to go with scaling Jago to Gargos, which places him far above what Jin is capable of.

This wasn’t just a battle of strength, though! Jago is faster than Jin by a gap of over 3000 Machs thanks to scaling to Tusk’s No Mercy, but that wouldn’t be enough to totally outpace Jin on its own. Jin’s Devil Beams move significantly faster than both Jago and Jin could on their feet, after all, so there was no way Jago was going to be able to dodge them all. But he really didn’t need to thanks to his impressive durability, which makes him more than capable of toughing through Jin’s beams.

Despite being outclassed physically, Jin wasn’t without his own advantages in this fight. His elemental attacks and super-strong barriers would easily prolong the battle, and he’s smarter than Jago in an academic sense. However, not only would these advantages really only delay the inevitable, but Jin’s intelligence advantage in academics does not translate to an intelligence advantage in practical combat.

That’s right! Jin might have started training as a teenager and is a potent brawler in his current age, but Jago was raised by warrior monks since his infancy, and most likely started his training at a much younger age. Plus, Jin is 21 years old, whereas Jago is 30 as of the most recent Killer Instinct installation, which means Jago’s skill and experience far surpassed his opponent’s.

Even when comparing their abilities and weapons, the Tiger Warrior shines brighter. His Endokukens are a more versatile method of ranged combat than the Devil Beams, and Jago’s multiple swords gave him another leg up on Jin, who usually isn’t packing anything more than his own fists.

The best option Jin had for taking the fight was his energy absorption, which could kill Jago if he could use it for long enough or even just leave him weak enough for Jin to handle in battle. However, Jago’s much higher speed combined with his teleportation abilities as Shadow Jago made it easy for him to keep Jin from pulling that off. Even if we somehow assume Jin was able to get a hold on Jago, he wouldn’t be able to keep his grip for very long, and with Instinct Mode Jago would be able to heal himself back into fighting shape.

Shadow Jago and Devil Jin didn’t change much for the fight’s outcome either – if anything, it just tipped the scales further in Jago’s favor by unleashing his full potential! Looks like Jin was Gar-grossly outmatched!
